the colonel by film club is a student-run organization focused on celebrating various films through watch parties, discussion circles, and other film-related activities.
since the club had a weak social media presence, we developed content to strengthen the club's brand identity on social media. deliverables included logos and templates for social media posts.

the process
after a discussion with the client, we determined that the club's brand would focus on 2 main attributes: playful and modern. the club's logo was designed to capture both these attributes, with its illustrative adding a modern edge to retro cartoon aesthetics.
to connect with the main user demographic of high school students, we also decided to lean heavily into creating netflix-inspired graphics for club activities.
